STORY: Almost needs no introduction at this point. But here goes...A single vineyard SB, sourced from Napa's Oak Knoll district. We ferment on 4-5 different yeast strains, across multiple stainless steel and neutral oak barrels, and leave it all on the lees to fatten up over the winter. The resulting blend aims to highlight the character of the vintage in the most meticulously balanced fashion. It starts off delicious right at bottling and then seems to reveal more surprising amazing flavors with each passing day.

VINIFICATION: We like to ferment the SB in a combination of small stainless steel barrels and neutral French oak. We also use a wide variety of exotic yeast strains to bring multilayered complexity to the blend.

TASTING NOTES — A thrilling vintage for SB. This wine is alive with aromas of fresh honeydew melon, lemon curd, tangerine juice, cantaloupe, white pear, and pixie sticks. The delightful palate sings with sweet grapefruit, ripe apricots, lemon-lime shave ice, stone fruit, and an elegant minerality on the long finish. (Enjoy 2020 – 2029)
