VINIFICATION: One of our most refined and regal offerings to date. Pitch-perfect structure combines with an energetic nature that has become one of the hallmarks of the 2018 Napa vintage. A blend of stellar vineyards from Stags Leap, Calistoga, St Helena, and Oak Knoll. And for the first time ever, a splash of Merlot and Petit Verdot make this an altogether delectable offering. Fermented on native yeasts, punched down by hand in open top fermenters, and gently pressed directly to 75% new French oak barriques, where the wine matured for 18 months before we bottled it unfiltered.

TASTING NOTES: An elegant beauty, with aromas of boysenberry, honey, cocoa, crushed violets, licorice, roasting coffee beans, ripe plums, and blackberry juice. On the palate, silky and succulent, opening with immense cocoa and chocolate, energetic blackberry, full, rich and complex, with an impressively long creamy mocha finish. (Enjoy 2023-2035).
