STORY: It’s been over 12 years since we last had a Petite Sirah available on this website. A wine and a varietal that still has quite a following, as well as a treasure trove of decadent memories. The 2017 is sourced from a stunning vineyard just a short walk down the road from our Calistoga tasting room. This Petite Sirah delivers on the ultra satisfying tannins we’ve come to expect, and all within a palate of friendly and exotic fruit flavors. Sometimes referred to as "peasant” Cabernet, because it occupies the same seat at the table, yet with a little less pomp and circumstance. A wine with a deep heart of dark fruit flavors. Pairs well with beef stew, spicy wings, and dried cheeses.
Blend: 100% Petite Sirah

TASTING NOTES - Aromas of blackberry jam, roasted herbs, very berry, pure vanilla, orange peel, forest floor, plums, sea mist, kumquat, rosewater, and toasted coriander. The flavors come through dense and pleasing on the mid palate, with excellent viscosity, ultra rich and yummy with pineapple, blackberry, black raspberry, finishing with an exotic spice cabinet of playful notes.
