VINIFICATION: 2014 was a stellar growing season, giving us the luxury of pushing the envelope in the pursuit of creating mind-blowing wines. We let the grapes on the vine just as long as we pleased. Hang time, the brilliant sunshine of late fall, warm days and cold nights, all combined to put the finishing touches on those succulent. As with all our wines, this was fermented with wild yeast, minimal intervention, in traditional old world style. These days, we tend to vinify all our wines in the Burgundian fashion. Coaxing the maximum flavor and color from the red grapes of Burgundy requires a very specific set of winemaking parameters. And when those techniques are applied to Cabernet Sauvignon, the results can be astounding.

TASTING NOTES:  Luscious and seductive, in a silky kind of way. Opulent aromas of framboise, cinnamon stick, salted caramel and toffee. The palate swirls with supple tannins, juicy dark fruits, fresh cracked pepper, ripe plums, roasted marshmallow, and a wonderful mouth-coating finish that seems to go on and on and on.
