Elevage: 12 months in barrel, 20% new French Oak

TASTING NOTES: Brilliant golden in color, this classically luscious Chardonnay is more Meursault than Chablis, and that's what’s intriguing about it. Opens with a wave of multilayered aromas of lemon curd, green apples and a hint of vanilla, harbingers of the rich and vibrant palate to follow. Fresh Bartlett pears and granny smith apples dominate the flavor profile, and the long, luxurious finish hints at white flowers and preserved lemons. Drink now (at 55º), or cellar until 2020.
